How to Set Up a Payment or Transfer

• Step 1: Choose the From and To accounts.
• Step 2: Select the Payment Type:
  • Principal Only: Amount to be applied to the current Principal balance. Shown as a Special Principal Payment. Not a pre-payment to a new/current bill. (not available if your account is overdue).
  • Interest Only: Amount to be applied to the billed/accrued Interest balance.
  • Payment Due/Billed: Amount to be applied to the current amount due. Amount shown includes all amounts due, including late charges. Total can be changed before submitting.
  • Regular Payment: Amount to be applied to an upcoming bill. Total can be changed before submitting.
  • Early Principal Payment: Amount to be applied to an upcoming Principal bill. Amounts greater than the current principal bill will automatically be applied to the next principal billing. Payment will impact the interest accrual on the loan. Will not be applied to Interest billings. (not available on operating or overdue accounts)
  • Fixed/Billed Amount: Amount to be applied to a fee assessed to a loan. Total can be changed before submitting.
• Step 3: Enter the amount you want to transfer. If an amount pre-populates, you have the option of changing the amount.
• Step 4: Choose the Scheduling Option:
  • Immediate: For internal transfers between Compeer accounts. These will be completed on the same day, based on cutoff times and Federal Reserve availability. Cut off time is 6 PM CT.
  • Current or Future-Dated (One Time): For a transfer or payment on a selected future date. Payments will be processed on the date selected and received on the next business day.
  • Recurring: Schedule payments or transfers to occur on a specific schedule or for a specific number of payments. Payments will be processed on the date selected and received on the next business day.
• Step 5: Pick the Transfer Date for when you want the funds to be sent. Days that fall on a weekend or holiday, cannot be selected. The effective date will be the date selected and funds will be received on the following business day.
• Step 6: Enter a Description for your transaction (optional). Do not include special characters.
• Step 7: Click Continue. A verification prompt will appear to allow you to review before finalizing.
• Step 8: Review the transaction. Click Cancel or Edit to make changes, or Transfer to complete the transaction.

Important Notes:

• Payoffs are not allowed for amounts shown in Online Banking. If you need a payoff quote, please contact your local Compeer office or client support at 844-426-6733.
• Transfers and payments are processed the day you submit them. The funds will be received by Compeer Financial or your external account on the next business day.
• Exceptions include weekends and Federal holidays.
• Cutoff Times: External transactions must be submitted by 4 PM Central Time (CT), and internal transfers by 6 PM Central Time (CT).
