Add/Edit an Alert
This section allows you to view and edit email alerts. An email alert is a notification sent to a specified email address that tells you that an event has taken place. Events that can be tracked include:
- When an account balance goes above or below a certain amount
- A reminder message to be sent at a certain time
To create a Reminder Alert
- Select "Reminder Alert".
- Click "Add Subscription".
- Enter the text of the message you would like to send.
- Click the calendar icon beneath the message. Select the date on which you would like the reminder to be sent.
- Click the clock icon. Select the time at which you would like the reminder to be sent.
- Choose the phone number(s) to which the alert will be sent.
- Choose the email address(es) to which the alert will be sent.
- Click "Submit". You will then see a message: "Your alert was created successfully."
To create a Balance Alert
- Select "Balance Alert".
- Click "Add Subscription".
- Select the account on which the alert will be active.
- Choose whether the alert should be triggered off of the available balance or the actual balance.
- Choose whether the alert will be triggered when the balance is greater than, equal to, or less than the threshold amount.
- Enter the balance threshold amount.
- Choose the phone number(s) to which the alert will be sent.
- Choose the email address(es) to which the alert will be sent.
- Click "Submit". You will then see a message: "Your alert was created successfully."
To create a Check Cleared Alert
- Select "Check Cleared Alert".
- Click "Add Subscription".
- Select the account on which the alert will be active.
- Enter the check number.
- Choose the phone number(s) to which the alert will be sent.
- Choose the email address(es) to which the alert will be sent.
- Click "Submit". You will then see a message: "Your alert was created successfully."
To create a Daily Balance Alert
- Select "Daily Balance Alert".
- Click "Add Subscription".
- Select the account on which the alert will be active.
- Choose whether the alert should be triggered off of the available balance or the actual balance.
- Select the time at which to send the alert.
- Choose the phone number(s) to which the alert will be sent.
- Choose the email address(es) to which the alert will be sent.
- Click "Submit". You will then see a message: "Your alert was created successfully."
To create a Loan Due Alert
- Select "Loan Due Alert".
- Click "Add Subscription".
- Select the loan account on which the alert will be active.
- Select one or all of the below options:
- Select the number of days before the loan payment is due to send an alert.
- Select "Send me an alert when the loan payment is past due" to send an alert after the loan payment due date.
- Select the frequency (in days) at which to send a reminder for the loan payment due.
- Choose the phone number(s) to which the alert will be sent.
- Choose the email address(es) to which the alert will be sent.
- Click "Submit". You will then see a message: "Your alert was created successfully."
To create a Maturity Alert
- Select "Maturity Alert".
- Click "Add Subscription".
- Select the account on which the alert will be active.
- Select one or all of the below options:
- Select the number of days before the account reaches maturity to send an alert.
- Select "Send me an alert when the account reaches maturity" to send an alert after the account reaches maturity.
- Select the frequency (in days) at which to send a reminder for the account that reaches maturity.
- Choose the phone number(s) to which the alert will be sent.
- Choose the email address(es) to which the alert will be sent.
- Click "Submit". You will then see a message: "Your alert was created successfully."
To create a Transaction Alert
- Select "Transaction Alert".
- Click "Add Subscription".
- Select the account on which the alert will be active.
- Select the transaction type for which the alert will be sent.
- Select whether to send an alert for a transaction of any amount or for specific amounts (more than and/or less than).
- Choose the phone number(s) to which the alert will be sent.
- Choose the email address(es) to which the alert will be sent.
- Click "Submit". You will then see a message: "Your alert was created successfully."
To create a Secure Messaging Alert
- Select "Secure Messaging Alert".
- Click "Add Subscription".
- Select the phone number(s) to which the alert will be sent.
- Choose the email address(es) to which the alert will be sent.
- Click "Submit". You will then see a message: "Your alert was created successfully."
To add / edit an email address
- Select any one of the alerts.
- Click the link "Add / Edit Email". You will see a list of the email addresses available to use.
- To remove an email address: Click the Delete icon next to the email address. A prompt will appear asking "Are you sure you want to delete the destination address?" Click "OK".
- To edit an email address: Click the Edit icon next to the email address. A text box with the specified email address will appear. Edit the address, and then choose whether or not the address supports HTML by clicking the checkbox. Click "Update Email". A prompt will appear asking "Are you sure you want to update the address?". All existing subscriptions with this address will change to the updated address. Click "OK".
- To add an email address: Click "Add Email". A text box will appear. Enter the destination address. Choose whether or not the address supports HTML by clicking the checkbox. Click "Save Email".
- Click "Back" to return to the alert screen. Click "Cancel" to go back to the first Alerts page.
